High Praise for Roman Cowboy’s
Mythic Bodies
A one night only collaboration inspired by Ovid.
Ambitious as always, Roman Cowboy founders Taylor Carmen and Cristiano Benfenati have earned high praise for the production of Mythic Bodies, an anthology of monologues inspired by Ovid’s Heroides, developed from scratch just ten days before the one night only performance.
Carmen performs as “Ariadne” with an original monologue exploring agency, betrayal, and rage.
Mythic Bodies is an ongoing production with future showings in development. This performance occurred at Avalon Cafe on July 23rd, 2026.

Taylor Carmen joins the second season of Cryptid Improv’s Fiasco: An Improvised Archive. This one of a kind TTPRG inspired improv features intense drama, absurd scenarios, and an ensemble of performers who commit to the wild adventures across space and time.
Taylor was feature in the summer run at the Etcetera Theatre in Camden, select dates from April 30 - June 25, 2026.
Completing their London world premiere of DON’T PANIC, Roman Cowboy Productions will bring this show to the Brighton Fringe Festival.
Applause from audience and press alike sets this show up for a promising run at the festival, as well as future development and productions.
The Brighton run took place from May 1st - 3rd at the Lantern Theatre’s Grania Dean Studio.

to premiere at the Etcetera Theatre.
Debuting this spring in London, DON’T PANIC by Taylor Carmen will run from April 21st - 26th, 2026 at the famous Camden fringe venue, The Etcetera Theatre.
Also starring in the play, Taylor Carmen will be joined by Gabrielle-Norma Griffin. The team will be completed by Kay Brattan of Little Lion Theatre Company as director, and Cristiano Benfenati as producer.
This is the inaugural production for Carmen and Benfenati’s company, Roman Cowboy Productions.

Swallow
at East15 in Essex.
Taylor Carmen performs as part of the East15 MFA Directing Season, 2025. She stars as “Rebecca” in Swallow, directed by Sarah Hyojin Kim and produced by Peculiar Matter Co.
This production ran October 2nd - 4th, 2025 at the Corbett Theatre. Taylor Carmen was hired externally to support this student production and did not participate as a student.
